We had a delightful stay at the hotel, enjoying its spacious and bright room with a lovely patio. The breakfast was abundant and delicious, and the staff provided attentive service throughout our visit. However, the initial check-in experience was a bit disappointing due to the lack of acknowledgment of my membership perks. Overall, it's a lovely spot to enjoy the beauty of the Hunter Valley, but just a few hiccups kept it from being perfect.

I had a decent stay at this resort with its clean facilities and central location in the heart of the Hunter Valley. The room was spacious and well-equipped, though it felt a bit dated. While I enjoyed the convenience to local wineries and attractions, the service could be improved during busy check-out times, and the breakfast offerings were a bit underwhelming.

Our stay at the hotel was frustrating due to service issues and room conditions. While the location is excellent for exploring the area, the rooms felt outdated and in need of upgrades. The dining options were lacking, and we faced significant issues with room service. On the positive side, the gardens and pool area were well-kept, adding a nice touch to the overall experience.

Rooms

The room was quite small and had significant wear and tear, with water damage and peeling paint. It certainly needs an upgrade to feel comfortable and inviting.

Service was lacking in professionalism, particularly when it came to room service and handling our requests during unexpected weather. It felt like there was a lack of attention to detail.
Location

The location could not have been better; it was conveniently situated near various attractions and facilities, making it easy to explore the area.
Dining

The dining experience left much to be desired. Breakfast was overpriced and poorly executed, and waiter service was either slow or non-existent.

Our stay at the resort spa was a mixed bag. While the location was excellent with quick access to Hunter Valley attractions, the hotel itself felt outdated and in need of maintenance. The service was friendly and accommodating, which was a bright spot. However, the dining experience left much to be desired, and several facilities could use upgrades to enhance the overall experience.

Rooms

The rooms were exceptionally large, comfortable, and clean, but they felt dated. The absence of basic kitchen items was a slight drawback, as was the lack of a safe.
Service

Our stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. While the location is superb, close to the wineries and gardens, the overall upkeep of the property was disappointing. The rooms feel outdated and in need of a refresh, and we faced several issues with service that really impacted our enjoyment. The dining options were lacking, especially for breakfast during the week, leaving us feeling dissatisfied overall.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms are spacious but quite tired, with noticeable issues like torn curtains and stains on the carpet. It was disappointing for the price we paid, especially since we expected a more luxurious environment.
Service
5.0
Service was inconsistent; while some staff were friendly, others seemed overwhelmed and unhelpful, particularly when we needed assistance with simple requests.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location is outstanding, just a short walk from Roche Estate wineries and the beautiful gardens. This is definitely a major plus.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was quite poor, particularly the breakfast; we expected a full meal but only received a bare-bones continental breakfast. A lack of food replenishment was also frustrating.
Facilities
6.0
Facilities such as the pool were decent, but the entire resort felt like it needed significant upkeep and modernization.
